2019 Model Fuel Filter

Featured Replies

HI,

If anyone was looking for the fuel filter on the 2019 model. It's next to the oil filter underneath the car and not near the top rear of the engine which is on the early models, also, there's nothing on 'You Tube' showing where it is.

There is a drain plug (18mm) in the centre of the bottom cap. This tends to snap off easily.

And Ford being Ford, you can't buy this separately, which I found out after snapping mine, new cap is about  £28 approx. The cap can be removed with a 74mm Oil socket. There's also a steel guard around the filter housing,

which is virtually impossible to remove without stripping the front of the car off, Suppose Ford couldn't make it to easy for DIYer's to do!!!
