DG74
Hello all. thanks for taking the time to help a potential ford newbie. Going to look at a fiesta tdci 1.6s tomorrow. It’s a 2010 model, full service history and had the belt etc done at 90k (it’s now on 118k). Anything that I need to look out for? Seller is a ford technician but I’ve not owned a ford before and don’t know their pitfalls. Any guidance appreciated. Many thanks.
alanfp
Welcome. Have a look around the forum. If you don't get much of a response in this section, you could try posting any particular queries on the specific Fiesta section. You will see that there are a few common pitfalls mentioned on the forum - two spring to my mind straight away but (as far as I know) the car you're considering doesn't have the 'problem engine' and it doesn't have the 'problem gearbox'.
