Broken lamp but no warning light?

Hi everyone. Yesterday I had my first broken lamp on my 2019 Focus, it's the left headlamp. Strangely, I had no warning light on my cluster. The little yellow lamp lights up when I start the car but it didn't when it actually should. Anyone knows why is that?

What kind of headlights have you got?

Have the factory halogen lights been replaced by LED after market lamps?

Then why the lamp failure warning didn't activate is a mystery to me. 🤔

Not all bulbs are covered by the CANBUS check.  I would have thought the dipped beam bulbs were though.  Try leaving one completely unplugged and see if the warning comes up.

Yes I would agree. The dipped beam are controlled by the BCM. The high beam are relay controlled and so they would probably not be detected when they fail.

As you noticed the light fail, why have a light on the cluster  telling you the obvious. Side lights ,indicators and brake lights I can see why.
