Evan_H
Hi I have a 2015 mk3 Ford Focus. The car has been parked up for a few weeks. Went to start it and the car was cranking but wouldn’t start because of low battery. Then it threw up error message “Immobiliser Malfunction service required”. Now the car wont crank. I fully recharged the battery but still wont crank. Any ideas?
unofix
Disconnect the negative lead from the car battery and leave it off for 20 minutes. Reconnect it and wait 5 minutes before turning of the ignition. The immobiliser should have reset.

Zen23
Somewhere in a manual I've seen you have to put key in a compartment where sd card is. But it might be for flat battery. It should be an option to use the physical key inside of the fob, might be on the door for 30 seconds or might be in a hidden ignition barrel. Evan_H
I called out a locksmith. Both immobiliser and key working properly but there are communication faults up with the IPC and BCM modules. He suggested may be corrosion in IPC
Zen23
I would check bcm first as it's more common to have a corrosion issue from water ingress or even brocken locking clips on the plugs so plugs getting disconnected itself.
