Stoney871
I think you'll find they're H8. Have a look at these and see what you think. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-H8-Car-Front-Headlight-Foglight-CREE-LED-Bulbs-HID-Xenon-White-Upgrade-12V-/270860186073?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f108671d9

Have a look at these and see what you think. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3f108671d9 thanks mate they look great and their 6000k which will match the DRL kit i plan to fit at the same time as fitting the bulbs, i figured i should change the bulbs when fitting the drl's so as to gain as long as possible before having to remove the drl's again to gain access to the bulb housing, so those cree fog light bulbs would do the job nicely B)

Lenny
Glad to be of service. ^_^ Those Cree H11 arrived today, so i went out and fitted them tonite, not the best picture of them below but you get the idea lol ive also purchased some 5smd 6000k w5w parking bulbs but i need to remove the headlight to fit them, and im due to get the drl's from Taiwan some time this week, so ill fit the w5w's along with the DRL's so all will be a nice 6000k white, hopfully saturday or sunday all going well. here is a picture with the standard Osram on the left and the Cree Q5 on the right and here is a picture's of both fog units with the Cree Q5 H11 bulbs fitted
Stoney871
So what do you reckon? Improvement or not? They certainly look less glary and more penetrating.

I reckon they are an improvement mate, ill get some better pictures uploaded at the weekend, i like the 6000k light and as you say their not as glary and will look even better when the parking lights are matching the fogs, Thanks again for the link B)
Lenny
So what do you reckon? Improvement or not? They certainly look less glary and more penetrating. Further update on these Cree H11 fog light bulbs mate, they look good and remarkably like a HID Kit. but i had the car out on a country road last night and i had to use my full beam headlights to see anything mate, the performance from them isisnt fantastic next option would be to consider a set of Osram Night Breaker Plus, slightly cheaper than the Cree H11 maybe not as bright but a better light out put. Stoney871
Fair enough. :) But saying that, were you driving at night with just sides and fogs on? Remember fogs are purely to light just in front of the car in poor visibility and won't have the range oh main lights.

gc88
I've just ordered some cheap as h11 fogs. That are white(blue) to match my headlights. I plan to fit them when I fitmy colour coded fog surrounds, today next week. I'll let you know how they perform!
catch
yes they are H11 mate. Just dug this up, Well thanks for that Lenny, been doing my head in the last couple of days. [regards my plan to convert the fogs into 5w or 7w Cree LED DRL's] The Owners Hand Book states they are H11, but when you go on eBay and use the "Compatibility Checker" some sellers use. It says not compatible, well I've had the bulbs out, measured them depth and width wise, look alright to me. Today I email one supplier, they told me to use http://www.pal-guide.com/ to check. Input model details, it came back saying the were H8. So I went and looked at some H8's popped them through the "Compatibility Checker" and yes you guessed it, it also said they were not compatabile. H11 or H8 they are all incompatible as far as it's concerned!!! Edit: out of interest what wattage were those Cree's you fit ?
