buidheach
Thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Ellie and I just joined the FF Club today. While I am a "girl" - I am interested in cars and I love reading about modifications (although I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to try any.. yet!!) I live in Denmark but come from Scotland and last year I decided to take my driving test which I passed first time despite everything being in Danish. :D I have a dark blue Ford Focus mk2 Estate 1,6 from 2006. Anyway I hope to learn some new stuff here both modifications and maintenence. :)

buidheach
Thanks Dez :) Lenny - Thanks for mentoning your guides.. I hadn't actually thought of doing any modding to the exterior of my estate but you've made me curious so I'm going to have a look see. Not too sure hubby's going to like that though... he thinks I spend far too much on my car as it is.

Stoney871
Welcome to the forum Ellie. I've done a couple of small bits to my car, maybe you can get a wee bit of inspiration from them. Details are in my post signature.
buidheach
Lenny - I think it might have something to do with him never learning how to drive. It still cracks me up that every guy we're chatted to thinks it's his car... mind you he's pretty quick at setting them straight. :D Stoney - Thanks for the welcome and the links... they look interesting. Although I'm not sure how brave I am when it comes to wiring and stuff. I can take a computer apart but then I don't have to drive it afterwards. ;)

buidheach
Hmm.. don't think my Apple would like getting booted.. now if it was my old Vista.. that I would have happily booted. :D I like the thought of side skirts and rear spoiler... but I think I'll hold off on any major modding for now as I've looked at the prices here in Denmark... way out of my price range. £250 - £600. I've just paid over £700 for the car's annual service... so am kind of skint.
Stoney871
Small steps make the difference. The wiring bits are easy enough for me to do and i'm a total doofus.
