jason70
hi there new to this site but here's my nightmare question: i have a ford transit 1997 with abs (think it may have been a demo model) the brake pedal has been travelling to the floor for some reason, spoke to a fitter and he said 'oh yes thats the master cylinder' so we bought one at great expense only to be told afterwards its not the problem! after numerous amounts of bleeding and power bleeding the problem still persists, now he's telling us it could be the abs unit although the light on the dash is not lit up, only for a couple of seconds on start up while it checks for faults then goes off as normal, does anyone have any idea at what the fault can be cos its driving me up the wall! (well it would if i could drive it!) any info would be grately received.cheers jason.........phew!
gaz6076
Are you getting any pressure? Or is the pedal 'fading' when pressed at idle?
