sambooka
Black any other colour will just show how small they are or look dirty all the time
b1g_dav3
Silver also isn't too bad on calipers, even when dirty they don't look like they were painted really.

b1g_dav3
I just use Hammerite paint with a brush on callipers, can stand heat and it's rust proofing, both painted before or after rust has got in.

gampla
which give better look painted or sprayed?
Lester1102
If u can take them off and don't mind the wait then I would get then powder coated but if its a choice between brush paint or aerosol paint I would choose brush purely because u have to mask off loads with the can because of the amount of area it covers and also you are less likely to get runs with a brush and a can would take loads if layers because the cast tht the callipers ate made out of will just absorb the paint and you don't have to worry about brush marks because if u get calliper paint then it is self levelling and will smooth itself out

trikidy
I was debating this hammerite http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300481667088&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 or this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270908604320?var=570058026879&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Went for the second as I messaged the first and they said it was not heat resistant like the second one is, he said it would probably be okay but I'd rather have the one that says it
Lester1102
The Hammerstein one would have been alright because tht is what Halfords website have in there calliper and drum paint section I went to Halfords and bought there Halfords brand calliper paint which cost a tenner but the hammerite blue wasn't the shade of blue I wanted. I then decided to paint them whilst hungover from a weekend in Manchester to think tht I didn't use a lot of paint so a tenner was a bargain then I stood up and kicked the paint over :( now my driveway is blue ha
