Just to gloat and wind the ST owners up .Have found i have this feature on a 2011 plate new shape mk3 Focus in Zetec trim.

OK its a new focus but come on Ford

Next is the Titanium,Zetec S ,Then ST models .

You guys have got to have this feature .

Tried it on my 2014 Titanium, didn't work - damn! :D Would have been great for the coming summer!

To enable Global Windows Opening with a click of a button on your remote keyfob, follow this simple steps on EACH window:

Press the "Down" arrow and hold down the button for 3 seconds
Press the "Up" arrow and hold down the button for 3 seconds

For my Fiesta Titanium, Etis says 'less global opening/closing'.

I would have thought that like many features on all cars, they are manufactured with them already built in and they just have to be enabled in the system with the correct equipment.

Nope it doesn't work, but picked mine up from the stealer this morning, new Turbo fitted and a free oil change ( Get In ) and asked them, they are all supposed to have this feature, they are going to ask ford for me, this dealer is quite good and said he'll get back to me next week, he should be honest, I bought 2 cars off him, the wife wants another and a mate of mine might be joining the ST club tomorrow as they have a lovely Orange fully loaded ST2 in ( which does have working global opening ) 13 plate too.

So will wait and see.

Have not got a ST, used to have it on Focus Ghia 51 plate. Doesn't seem to work on titanium with x pack

Hahaha, afraid not. I first saw this on a late 90's Rover. So it's been around for a while! Just taking its sweet time to make itself standard universally!

It doesn't appear to work on my 13 plat zs but will have a play with the window reset and see if I can make it work

Heres how to do the reset, answer from Ford.

I am sure you already know but just to make sure the way to
operate this should you have it as a feature is to hold down the unlock button
until the windows start to move down. Or lock until the move up, do this when
unlocking, locking the vehicle. If this doesn’t work / isn’t working. Then the
only other thing I could suggest would be to hold the lock and unlock button
for five seconds or so. This changes the key configuration for unlocking the
driver’s door separately to the passenger door. One press for drivers door. Two
press for passenger door and boot. If not then we would need to book it in to
investigate. We can provide a courtesy car or collect and deliver the vehicle
at the time if needed to cause as little inconvenience as possible.

they are crap. you can still have that feuture if you install an aftermarket canbus alarm system which can unlock/lock windows by arm/disarm the alarm.its just an ecu configuration that they dont know how to do it? or they dont want to do it..

Hi guys, picked up my ST-3 today and tried the global closing. It works but only did my passenger window up. Now when i get in the car and goto open and close the windows, one shot isnt working, have to keep my finger on the button .. Any advice ??
