Spot The Poor Vauxhall!

Featured Replies

heres an idiot I encountered tonight, doesnt have the first clue of how to use a roundabouts, comes off the roundabout on a 4 lane, which spreads to a 5 lane and he goes from the inside to lane 3 in front of the van:

I hasten to add he also went through a red light in the traffic lights before the video and also has blue lights on the sidelights if not his grill...

Lol typical Corsa driver. Is that a Mobius you're using? Where is it mounted? Looks really good.

nah, thats a GS800L (link in my signature to the review thread) its mounted just behind the rear view mirror and is running full quality

Too many videos, not enough smashed vauxhalls '_)

I found a corsa today on the back if a truck looms like it ended up in its native position, will see if the cam caught it though it was going the other way on a dual carriageway lol

I heard vauxhall drivers get great discounts from tow truck services cause they have such a great relationship with each other.

That overtaking video is bad. I don't think they are aware you aren't allowed to cross the solid white lines not even to overtake a cyclist

I think the highway code says you can cross them to overtake a vehicle that's doing 10 mph or less, but I'm not 100% sure, I know I've broken this rule a few times, never dangerously of course :P

10 mph is very slow, most cyclists; unless they reach a nasty hill, will be doing over that...

Well when u are approaching them at 60/70 mph its looks like they are doing 10mph so there for we can over take :p

If your wife drives a Vauxhall there is more of a chance finding her in bed with the tow truck driver rather then the mail man

Dunno about this one tbh. On the one hand the BMW should have indicated his/her intention to turn right before they even got on the roundabout, so I suspect it was a last minute decision.

But is the vauxhall even in the right land to be taking the second exit?

LMFAO!

Must admit some of those clips are doozies! how on earth was that Nova even able to overtake! and as for that Corsa that lost to the relay....

Still havent had chance to plug my cam in yet from yesterday

I personally would have read the road as both lanes to go ahead, so the BMW is definitely in the wrong. There was no road markings to suggest the right lane was right turn only, having said that, if the video had 15 seconds more on the front of it, there may have been indication on another signpost of lane control.

From what is seen there though, I believe the BMW was wrong entirely.

Standard roundabout practice is as we know left hand lane for left or straight, right hand lane for right or straight (when a two lane approach is in place).

Cant believe I just defended the vauxhall... I shall go and lick a power cable as punishment.

You know it's gonna be bad when you see a corsa within the first 20secs of the video:

I'm not one to defend a vauxhall in anyway but the guy driving and filming here is just bad. Look at the speed to overtake four cars on a road merging into one. Not excusing the corsa's driving, but gosh.

haha, that is the only time I would be happy to say - good on that blue corsa! mind you how he managed to make it go that quick to get in front god knows :p

Another vauxhall yet again:

Clive in action?? :D :D

Is it bad that I keep checking this thread? pmsl.

Force of habit methinks ;)

Another vauxhall yet again:

Lol that lorry driver should have just held his ground, if the car decided to ram into him then fair enough. Although to be fair the lorry driver could get into trouble for the collision even if it's not his fault.

I liked the low speed chase at the end, that guy just didn't know where to stop. If you're being stopped by police you stop anywhere out of the way, you don't look for a convenient parking space :P

...wowowowow... wait.. That can't be a bmw, it's indicator actually flashed..

...I'm not sure about this argument, sounds to me like you're using the 'ol "Well, if he's doing 15, and I'm doing 65, then technically, we could say I'm doing 50 and he's doing nothing"

...or is this like being able to lift your own body weight but not understanding why you can't stand on a skipping rope and pull yourself off the ground?
