Hi all!

I'm new here, got my Fiesta Econetic a few weeks ago and I'm currently averaging 38.0mpg. It's just being used to run about town right now and doesn't get used on long motorway runs.

Just wondering what you guys with the same car get? It seems a little low compared to what Ford claim it should be getting!

    Mate,ford is way out on the M.P.G and a lot of info online are,i have the 1.6 and it says something like 48m.p.g average.

    When i had the car i knew its never going to happen,also i do so local driving most times i only need 2nd gear lol.

    I do around 28 but very local but i only do about 100 miles in 3 weeks,if that ,great on a run that i have done twice and

    then it shoots up a lot,and i mean a lot in 5th.

    There are a nice few post on here about m.p.g so just have a search around.

    My 60 plate econetic averages 64mpg at the moment that's a mix of town and motorway (restricted to 50mph due to roadworks) I've had it over a year now and very happy with the mpg and consumption. Gone all over in it and can't imagine being without him now.
