byronwells
Alright guys I have looked in the manual that came with the ford fiesta 2011 zetec and can't work out which part connects to the actual radiator so that I can put some anti-freeze into it.. Also because I got the winter service check done by ford a few days ago, would they have not done that? Or tell me it need to doing? I forgot to mention/asked it at the time
laumk7
The coolant should have antifreeze in it already shouldn't it?
byronwells
Ahh right... So the guys at ford servicing on the winter check would have put some in them... So cool I don't need to worry about it :) This is my first expensive car and wanna keep in top notch condition :)
stef123
What colour is your coolant in the expansion tank? From the factory your car is filled with a summer coolant/winter antifreeze mix. It should either be orange, pink or purple.
byronwells
Orange Colour
Nathan54771
Orange Colour Well Aslong as its below the max line it's fine, ford would (should) of checked that. Never mix antifreeze so if you was gonna put your own in, I'd drain it and flush it out.
