I don't like hayfever.

Neither did I, until I tried loratadine and since then I've never looked back.  One tablet and I can spend all day in the garden without a problem!

Yep, Vectra C pre-facelift.  What engine?  Diesel one, 120 or 150bhp version?

Me neither!  I seem to be getting delayed hayfever lately though, I can be outside for a while, even walked through a field of grass earlier.  Then an hour or more later it'll hit me and I'll be sneezing, snotty and itchy eyes...  What's with the delay lol??

1.8 Petrol LS, as it's so slow I'm assuming it's the 120hp.  Naff either way, won't be here long, taking the tow bar off it as it's only been used once & they make anywhere between £40-£90 on Fleabay, so it's a little extra money to be made.  Once I've sorted that it's either the Auction or Autotrader etc.  Wife likes it though because the boot is huge

Ahh don't, keeps happening to me, it makes my eyes go funny and people look at me like wtf.. Plus whenever I sneeze I usually sneeze 8 times after, some crazy eye twitching sneezing freak

Hmm never heard of that, I try everything, every year I need to get all the tablets, nose unblockers, eyedrops and everything ready...

1.8 petrol!?  You couldn't have bought one with a worse engine if you'd tried!

The high spec diesels weren't bad.  Boot was crap for me though, the hatch slopes too much so can only fit long thin objects in.

Depending on if it's the ZE or the XE, the one I had in the Astra was the XE which means it had the Cat manifold & they were considerably better & slightly faster & are actually quite tunable if you know where your looking but as with all the tosh on that side of the fence as soon as one things go wrong, that's it.  Like I said the car is immaculate but won't be here long, want it gone within a week really.  Always been a blue oval person, mainly because when I was growing up dad had numerous fords, he had 4 Capri's( 2.8i & a modified 3.0, 1.6 & a special) a few xr2's and xr3's, he had an RS turbo, RS2000, sapphire, sierra cosworth & an escort van lmao.  Oh and then he had a mk1 v6 mondeo, a mk2 v6 mondeo, a mk3 v6 mondeo(2.5) and he's had 2 cougar v6's

I don't like that forecasted heavy rain never happened in Dorset.

I specifically stopped what I was doing, went out and fed the lawns with Evergreen 4-in-1 ahead of the heavy downpour this afternoon, it needs to watered in, so applying it before some heavy rain is ideal.

If left unwatered in, it can stain paws and fur, and it follows carpets and upholstery from the stained paws and fur

As a consequence of no rain I had to wander about, manually watering it in this evening with the hose for a couple of hours:sad:  After both my sprinklers couldn't be used on account of perished O rings:ohmy:

Brandy was prescribed that when she had an infestation of spider mites around her ears, it brought an abrupt end to the itch.

You tried Piriteze?

My brother whose a hayfever sufferer found that's the only one that works with his.  He can even be on a lawn that's being mowed shortly after having taken it:

Without it, he used to have leave the house when his wife was cutting the lawn, and stay away for several hours.  Grass pollen is his major irritant.

Is that all Vauxhall towbars or just Vectra ones?

8-10ft bamboo canes for bean growing and skis, might be unique selling point for Matt:tongue:

"for sale Vectra C with a abyssmal engine but an ideal boot for bean growers who ski"

Haha, I must admit, it carried 3metre lengths of wood with ease!  Was just useless for most other things.  I'd bought it after owning a 306 estate in the midst of sorting my Nans house and moving her into a flat (she was/is a horder!) - the Vectra was no match for the 306 estate at all!  Less space, less power to weight (306 was remapped), less mpg, more road noise...  Not my best idea there lol, I assumed buying a large hatch would be similar to a small estate.

I don't like 'signed for' parcels, is anyone ever home to sign for them?  Causes such hassle for the recipient, and must cost the couriers a lot in missed/repeat deliveries as well!  I specifically choose NOT signed for if given the choice, but wasn't this time.  Even more annoying is that their depot is 10 minutes away and I'll be driving past in about half an hour...yet rather than take it back there they'll try to redeliver tomorrow. Chances are I won't be in then either, and I could really do with it first thing Friday morning at the latest

Can you not go online and request collection from their depot?

I'll add that to my Gumtree ad now lol, thanks for that GMX lol.  ALso to your previous question, it's for both actually, the price difference is negligible to honest

See for me, the boot on the Focus is naff & the boot on the vectra is awesome.  1 word for that is PRAM lol.  The Focus, the pram has to go in diagonal & takes up all the boot Vectra I can swing a small child either side & believe me Amelia had that experience last night ahahahah I joke she's the favourite.  Before you say why didn't I use common sense & buy a car with a bigger boot.  Well blame the wife for that as her hoarding hobby is prams.  She's had/got more prams than Man Utd have bad players.  The 3rd to last pram fitted nicely in the boot, alas the last 2 haven't

I don't like it when people try to F you around on invoices....

Strangely enough, I consider myself pretty honest. I've had people send me invoices lower than they should have been and I'll do my best to check into whats going on. I'd rather if someone does some work for me, then they get paid for it, and if they don't do the work then they don't get paid for it... However when you request the dates of the work done for a job that was agreed to be paid on a day rate and they refuse, that it gets my hackles up. If you've stuffed up and forgotten to write the dates down in your diary then firstly you're a plank, and secondly we can sit down and work it out. The last thing I ever want is someone to feel hard done by because of me being a bad person. It's like trying to get blood from a stone! I even said to the guy that it could be an error on my part, but instead he blanks me and states he does not want to argue...... my goodness!

Don't like that the testing station used 8.2 miles of my fuel today.  What on earth could they do that much mileage for, for an MOT & a interim service.

Do you mean they added 8.2 miles to the odometer?  I'd be querying that as there is no need to drive any further than from the road/forecourt to the work shop, then back again.

What do I say to that though.  Go to the garage with my size 12s on " oh why have you driven x amount of miles"

If they used 8 miles worth of fuel, then that's something. But if they actually drove around for 8 miles, that's an entirely different matter, and cannot have any proper justification behind it IMO. It's not a service, it's an MOT, the car is supposed to be mostly stationary...

Exactly.  The only mileage the car should gain (as far as I know) would be from being on the rolling road to do the brake test, but I'm sure that isn't for the equivalent of 8 miles...

Sorry they drove 8.2 miles, I reset the odometer when I parked it up.  It was an MOT & a interim service but still there is no need to drive 8.2 miles.

Shouldn't be driving 8.2m though surely.  They had adjusted all the climate control as well(not that it's a big thing, they just could of put it back, lazy so & so's) but I Don't understand why they would even need to touch the climate control as I had it off & as far as I'm aware you don't need the climate control on for any filters?

If it's a service as well then a roadtest is part of that.  If it's just an MOT it won't leave the garage premises.

8 miles does seem a bit much but not much you can do about it tbh.

I don't like the thick acrid black smoke that is billowing from next door's builder's bonfire.

I was under the impression that burning trade waste was illegal, apart from shrubbery, if you're a landscaper with D7 exemption licence from the EA/DEFRA

I don't like seeing things (Peugeot 405s) that I want, but not having the time or available funds...  I know, I have a mint-condition model parked outside, but what can I say - I'm greedy and want more!

Haha feel exactly the same way - for wanting the same car that I currently have, but a better version of it! I want a Titanium model with tints, heated seats, 5 spoke steering wheel, most importantly CRUISE CONTROL, better looking alloys, etc...

I don't like.  No that's a lie I HATE, IAN BEALE.

Yes, I do die a little bit each time I see a GLX/GTX/Executive and can't buy it.

I will get them someday, the only problem is that by the time I do, they will be far more expensive than now.

I don't like that my phone has deleted my entire contact list (bar my own landline number...what use is that!)...not even sure how long ago it was as I never phone anyone lol.  But if there was an emergency and I needed to, I now don't have any!
