I don't like my phone (LG G4) dying on me!

Froze this morning while browsing the internet - force powered it off (by removing the battery). Won't turn back on again. No signs of life.

You realize how attached you are to your phone when you can't use it for just one day! lol

Too true incontro

Indeed!  I was the same when my old Nokia died after inadvertently giving it a bath...  And this is coming from me, a man whose mind is firmly stuck in the 1960s in terms of technology!!

Ahh, you made me miss my 6310! Those were the days, best phone ever

(Now I feel like an old man saying that lol)

And I will be without it for several days at least, until it gets repaired. :(

My work phone (which I'm using as my backup) just doesn't cut the mustard, plus it feels like I'm permanently at work now! lol

I have two related dislikes.  The first being having to sell the Ghia, and the second being that I have to wait until it sells before I can transfer my insurance to the Nissan and start driving that.  The longer it remains unsold the more I want to get the brake line replaced and keep it, but I know that I cannot afford to do that considering the expiring MOT in two weeks plus the fact I have bought the Almera.

Ironically I didn't mean an old-school Nokia, but rather a Lumia 520.  An older "brick" Nokia would probably have survived sitting in a puddle of water easily, but the Lumia not so much!!

This awful weather, I've a new reversing camera, side and main beam lights to fit and an additional boot light none of which can be done till this rain stops 😩

hate it when you have to fix something  that wont wait and get soaking  wet

Lorry drivers who dont look were they are going and hit your year old car.  Then get away with it.

Insurance companies and solicitors (see above)

Unfortunately I cannot, as we have no off-road parking so whilst the Focus is parked on the road (even though undriveable) it has to be insured.  The Nissan is still insured under the previous owner so can be parked on the road also, but obviously not driven until I put my insurance on it.

I don't like having a stiff G&T and then realising that we are out of crisps or any sweet treats...  Of course I could walk to the local shop, but that would involve exertion...

I don't like the brainless Ford Ka driver (young female if anyone is interested) that suddenly pulled out in front of us today (from a lay-by), whilst travelling at 60 MPH in the left lane of a dual carriageway.

I was reversing out of an on street parking bay on to the road in a town square a year ago and had stopped as i saw a flash.  Next thing I knew the cause of the flash (a lorry travelling at some speed having not stopped at a junction) had removed the rear of my Fiesta from the rest of the car.  They said I reversed into them and I couldn't prove otherwise.  At the time the driver admitted he didn't even realise he had hit me and it was his passenger that had alerted him.  £2500 to put right (plus the months of physio I've had to pay for out of my own pocket due to a bulged disc).  I now have front and rear dash cams installed ;)

I don't like that after the Ghia's demise, I no longer have a car with a cassette player...  The 405 still has the aftermarket CD player which I have yet to replace (because all the eBay sellers of Peugeot cassette radios want ridiculous prices) and the Almera has a CD player also which is integral to the centre console so cannot be replaced.

Yes, it is 2017 and I am actually complaining about not having a cassette player!!  I know, I'm out of touch...

I don't like my lawn currently resembles a paddy field with both standing water and tall grass in desperate need of a mow. Each time the weather is drier enough to cut: there's still too much standing water for the mower.  Pipper returns from every loo trip with soggy legs and depending on whether it's a No.1 or No.2, a wet tail:mellow:

Whilst there are more second hand Trans K9 crates on ebay and Gumtree this week, all the suitable ones (B19 or B23ss) are in the northern parts of the Scottish highlands (again).  Which kind of defeats the savings of getting a used one, if there's a 1200 mile round trip to go and collect it. All the local ones (up to 100 miles or so) are either for a Land Rover Discovery or a Mitsubishi Outback. There's a Lintran for a Volvo V70 in Birmingham that might fit, but I really wanted a Trans K9 for Pipper's Focus Mk2 travelling needs.

Had I known this last month, you could have had the two Philips and one Blaupunkt cassette players (working but not needed) that joined the dead kettle,  three Intel P5 PCs and various other obsolete PCI cards that I took to the WEEE shed at the local recycling centre.

Video unavailable 😕

And the Ghia is now gone...  On the bright side it went to a fellow Ford fan who owns several Foci (old and new) and a Mondeo, so had a nice chat with him about the cars and he towed it away to use it for parts for another 2.0 MK1 he owns.  Every cloud has a silver lining I suppose.

I just checked the link now mate, it still works...?

my car insurance is due for renewal now and doing quotes realised i still hadnt heard from my previous employers insurance broker about a car accident i had last march while at work under there insurance.

accicent was clearly not my fault( hit from behind) but the other driver is still claiming it was my fault!! solicitors involved and going to court.

apparently the solicitor has sent me papers to fill out, that could be a bit tricky as they or broker dont  know or asked for  my address

i wouldnt want my car insurance handled by these clowns

I don't like getting out of work at 18:59 when my shift finished at 18:30!!  I could have blind transferred the customer to another department or hung up, but as the diligent worker I am I handled the call which escalated to a perfectly reasonable complaint.  Will I get any appreciation for it?  Hell no!!
