Also saw a 58 plate MK2 non facelift which must be pretty rare!

That colour 'Verdigris' is rare as well, I really like it tbh.  Just checked ETIS...built March 07, not registered until October '08!

I do as well tbf, wonder why it sat for so long? I’ve also seen a 55 plater in a lovely deep red almost maroon colour that I’ve never seen before, and ocean blue (mine) seems to be fairly rare as all the blue one so see are Jeans or Ink blue.

That's not long, you would be supprised how long some vehicles are parked up for if not sold to order. I was told some time ago, if you want to buy a new car, spec it with a couple of extras so it has to be made at factory . Then you get a "new" new car as opposed to a new but could be 2 years sat waiting for a buyer car.

Interesting, never knew they could be sat around like that but then I guess it does make sense. I suppose some people don't mind just taking whatever the dealer has in stock but most want a brand new fresh from the factory car.

I've seen sync 2 Mondeo's sold when sync 3 has been out ages. Normally fleet cars

Brake fluid change is likely to be about the same price at the main dealer.  Wouldn't let Halfords Autocentre do it personally.  Chances are it was probably changed at 2 years old if it's been dealer serviced, they usually 'strongly recommend' it's changed as it's cheap and easy for them, netting them a nice profit.

£39 at Ford. That's settled it then!

Tested it with a brake fluid tester pen, showing 1% water content. Fluid is clear of sediment and in daylight a pale yellow colour (think hydrated urine). Looks like it was changed in 2013 which is still 5 years ago!

Don't like developing 38.8 degree fever yesterday night. Today still reading the same on the thermometer 🤒

You know what, my parents went to my grandparents house to see my gran with cancer. Thankfully treatment has started for her and she's taking chemo tablets which just hope it helps. I left the heating on for a few hours as my hands and feet were freezing cold 😂. If they were here at home they'd say it's too hot 🤣

You might be best staying clear from her (and your parents might want to be checking their temperature too before going to see her) for a bit, the last thing she needs is an infection to knock her about even more whilst her immune system is not at it's best! Best wishes for her and her treatment though, they do wonders now!

Sorry if you know this, but amazing how many people don't actually know!

Thanks micro 👍. Yeah we know that. I remember my mum telling my gran not to see her as she had a flu. I kind of was bed ridden and didn't have the energy to walk around so silly for me to go. Thankfully woke up now and feel a little better.

My grandads brother a few years ago was diagnosed with something which started to deteriorate his lungs. From what I heard bird poo when it's hardened and you try to clean it, it turns into a dust / powder which you'd breath up and stays in your lungs. He had psoriasis so took medication for it which the doctors believe might have reacted with that powder in his lungs. After a year his lungs started to deteriorate quickly. He couldn't afford to catch an infection as his lungs were working at 30% at one point and that would kill him. Sadly one night he woke up coughing and choking so went hospital. A few days after I remember hearing his pulse started to drop and he passed away. That was the first time in my life also I saw my dad in tears and crying.

Now the weird thing or horrible thing was he had also been diagnosed with cancer in his mouth which they also found to be invasive. If he did manage to live with the lung problem the cancer however would kill him. My dad thinks that it might of been better he went out now rather than the cancer eating him up.

Whenever I go to the grave yard. It just makes me think this is life. I'm surprised and upset to look at some graves. I remember seeing one which had twins in it which were only 5 years old.

I was surprised with this video. They talked about this issue in my area. Thinking about it I sometimes do hear someone in a loud exhaust booting it on the main road late night. The tescos shown in my area is far away from houses so that hopefully doesn't disturb people at home. I would hate seeing these boy racers mess around with innocent drivers.

Muppets. Learn to drive properly on a track. I've never understood the boy racer in Tesco car park mentality.

I've heard that's only suitable for boy racers with advanced driving skills...

I'm sick of asking the kids to flush the loo,

I'm going to screenshot the YouTube subscription button and get it printed on a sticker which I'll then put over the flush button of the toilet,

They sure know how to press that youtube-subscription-link-button-videos.jpg.b31f93fe39f8ea617d0bae39b988b2d0.jpg

I hope they don't add more speed cameras. I hardly drive on the dual caregway so it's fun to sometimes boot it once in a while. I'm so paranoid of speed cameras I travel down the side roads to uni as I feel more comfortable.

I honestly feel that statement the guy said about track days being expensive is rubbish. In the clip you saw someone in a E63 AMG doing donuts and a focus RS. Those cars ain't cheap to buy and run so I'm sure the owners are loaded to afford a track day. Or they are putting just about all their wages on the running costs which is a financial mistake.

Never been to a car meet before but I think my car would blend in 😂

In a house with 4 adults now you'd be surprised that that still happens.

Yeah - plenty of heavily modified BMWs there but can't afford a £100 track day wacko.gif

The insurance hike due to mods would be 10x that amount if they declared them. It's a cultural issue. They'd rather do doughnuts in a Tesco car park.

A hundred pounds is nothing. Those car owners must pay more for just road tax 🤣

My work mate just saw a bill for 7900 euro from BMW for two fuel pumps on his 2012 4.2 twin turbo V8 BMW M5 which thankfully was still under sales warranty as he bought it less than six months ago lol apparently it has three fuel pumps in total.

Annual tax over here for the 4.2 is 2,200 for 12 months

Only race track is in Dublin 300km away

When I had ST rims was costing four 225/35/18 tyres every 9-11 months
