2010 Ford Focus 1.6tdci DPF or CAT?

Featured Replies

Is it a Dpf filter and/or a catalytic converter on my model ?

depends, probably is a dpf and cat, not sure the 1.6tdci 109 version came without the dpf, specifically which engine do you have?

90bhp version didn't have a DPF, the 110bhp did have a DPF combined with a CAT, the CAT is most likely separate on the 90bhp version.

it has the 109bhp engine guys. just looking to find this out so i can get either the cat removed if it has one or if its just a dpf, get that removed & mapped. need that turbo owl in my life haha :smile:

I'f it's a 109 then in has a DPF and CAT as one in the same chamber of the DPF.

Coated DPF and cat on a 2010 109ps as above, they are separate in the can though so you can remove the DPF core without the cat core.  It's not advisable to remove them these days though, but obviously it's your choice to make, as long as you know the potential risks. :)
