Omendata Posted March 5, 2016 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Sounds like you need a new hood cover latch - slamming the hood or boot is one of the main reasons the switch fails and then the alarm can go off randomly not allowing you to switch it off - or perhaps the electronic switch is staying open circuit.
