Hello,

Today I found a oil leak on our 2009 Ford Focus with 1.6tdci engine. There's quite a bit of oil comming from turbo pipe to intercooler. Does it mean I need to change the turbo or there's something else wrong?

Keep it safe! :driving:

Ive got one if these myself

the breathers & intercooler pipes get quite oily , Regular oil changes help !

yours looks like the intercooler pipe is wearing loose or splitting .

if you can, try and remove the leaky end of the intercooler pipe to inspect for any splits ect , clean up & re fit.

See if the issue persists

Could this be from an oil overfill?

Could be but the oil stains look incredibly sooty like which suggests Intercooler pipes
