C Max Mk 3 Engine changed

Another day another .....took the car for a drive yesterday and had the same idle low oil pressure warning it had when I first drove it!   Aside from the head gasket failure, this made me decide to replace the engine in the first place, however, the replacement engine has the oil px switch in the filter housing, not on the side of the block and it had been electrically destroyed during transport to me. I simply replaced the crankcase plug with the original sensor at the time of fitment and there as they say was where the problem lay....caught by my own trap, I replaced the sensor with  a new £6 unit from motor factors and ALL is now well.....phew.. We learn every day...thx.
