Taking those pictures… I think that’s a disgrace

.....fancy using a bloomin blackberry don’t you have a proper camera you could have used?

:D :D

Cool pics, but I can't believe that we had that debate about the lack of driver focus caused by 'auto' lights and wipers and then you took those whilst driving and a driving instructor as well lets hope the pupils don't catch on to his bad habits..

Just don't do something like this

well been snowing very heavy here for past 3hrs im on nights in hospital and it's looking doubtfull for getting home, i live 14miles away in country. dont have my fiesta with me i have the zafira and its pish in snow with low profile tyres and esp (even switched off).

Just don't do something like this

Easy to sit here and judge on that one, but if the driver had used first gear rather than brakes to stop she might have controlled that and been able to continue to steer the car down and around the corner, staying in first gear.

Having said that the worse thing you can possibly do is try to get out, as soon as she jumped leaving the car in neutral it has picked up speed and might even have run over her or her friend or someone else standing on the path.

I used to do some serious off-roading and almost became an Instructor member of BORDA (British Offroading Driving Association) and one thing we taught people on slippery slopes was to keep the wheels turning and the clutch engaged, as soon as you press the clutch in you lose traction and then control.

To be fair to the driver I think this was all about panic and panic causes more accidents than anything else.

But thanks for posting the link - Scary stuff...let’s all try and learn from it.

guarantee I would have better driver focus even whilst taking those pictures than most of you driving normaly!

As you admit you are only better than most of the other members of tha forum,

Which of us other humble members do you feel are inferior to you and which of us reach you high standard (or driver focus as you call it).

Ooh, now let me think ... hmm ... ummm ... tough call ...

... Bruce, I'm going to go with the latter.

Cuddly toy?

Now now, it's Christmas. Play nice.

Just heard that there might be some more snow coming down around this area. Excellent News :)

WHERES MY !Removed! SNOW

Patience Michael, it's on its way!

Looks like a good chance of snow near you tomorrow! :)

No snow forecast for me according to BBC, whew! I was going to buy some new boots tomorrow, just not the practical kind!

I've had enough of the snow for now, thank you.

We've got snow and now it's all frozen over - horrible horrible horrible!

It seems some people are a bit too cautious with the snow.

Wake up excited about the Fife Derby.

Pitch passes pitch inspection, skies are blue, paths are clear probably the best day in the last few weeks.

Police then decide that the WEATHER FORECAST says it might snow, so they call it off!!, I wish they would concentrate on things more important than watching (and believing) the !Removed! weather :(
