YOU READ MY MIND! i lurve castello.

i tried buffalo mozzarella the other day, disappointment of the decade!

i think my fave on a cracker would be a layer of smoked bavarian, followed by a little wedge of brie, spread of cranberry sauce, then a slice of castello wrapped up with a dollop of caramelised red onions. yumtastic

Not a lover of Wensleydale - well, not the one i bought in Tesco before Christmas infused with Cranberries and maple :(

Like Stilton though, with or without Port too :P

yeah tbh I much prefer plain old cows milk mozza. I have some Long Clawson Stilton and some Blacksticks Blue in the fridge and also some cranberry so I think I have a meal-plan forming now :)

maybe you could make a lovely cheese sauce with all that cheese? buy yourself some gnocci and have some blue cheese sauce! lovely. dollop of cranberry on the top with some garlic and rosemary bread. yumm

Sounds tasty but I will probably have this cheese straight. Also I have probably made 100 gallons of cheese sauce over the past few months and I don't really want to dredge up those memories so soon into the new year  (cooking was a large part of my last job)

I will keep a mental note of all of these recipies for future use though :)

So you're a cheese sauce maker, Jonny? Lol

i understand, cheese sauce has its limits.

nice simple thing to do with gnocchi is to add peas, cherry tomatoes and onions to the pasta and add a little bit of good olive oil with garlic and mixxy. quite a nice taste from simple pimple things
