Hobhouse
Recently had a Pioneer head unit fitted into my mk2.5 focus by Halfords including a new fascia etc. I wanted to remove the fascia today, leaving the unit sat in the dash, so that I could wrap the fascia and the rest of the centre console. When I popped the fascia out, the whole unit was attatched to a bracket so I couldn't pop the fascia out to wrap it. Any ideas if I can remove this without completely unplugging the unit? As it'll be a pig to wrap with the unit still attatched. thanks in advance!!
FatHead1979
The bracket (often referred to as a 'cage') usually prevents removal of the surround without disconnecting the cables and removing the head unit. You're probably just going to have to bite the bullet I'm afraid.
