liamstears
First off, anyone done this? Has it been done before? Thinking of retrofitting electric rear windows to my 2014 MK7.5 Titanium Quick brainstorming tells me I need the following: New switch for drivers door New door cards for both rear doors with switches New wiring looms for rear doors New inner door panels for both doors including motor/regulator and door control modules Prob some forscan changes Would this be all I would need? Any other ideas? Would internal wiring in the car be present or would this need to be modded too? Any ideas how to check? Hope you guys can give some input before I start spending £'s on bits that I can't get working.... Thanks in advance :-D
Tiexen
Why do you want to do this? I've a 4 door with manual rears windows and I don't think I've ever wanted to open the rear windows from the drivers seat
liamstears
3 Reasons really: 1 is the annoying window drop that occurs magically, you will see there is another thread on it 2 My 5 year old nephew has a habit of playing around with the windows, electric ones can be disabled from the drivers seat 3 Because I can and I like playing with things :-D lol
Luke4efc
It's quite an easy mod to do as an aftermarket version. There's various kits online that you can buy. I guess you could get the factory door cards and wire it up to those switches. Would require a bit more effort to get it working on the drivers switch as well though.
liamstears
Bit the bullet and decided to go for it Bought all the bits I need apart from door looms, struggling to find them unfortunately, can't even find a part number at the moment

Kierancoultas
How did you use forscan, like what system and how did you do it, something I can’t really find out on here
