flameowner
Hi, I have an 06 Ford Fiesta 1.4 petrol. The engine management warning light is on permanently. It is misfiring and when I disconnect plug 3 it makes no difference to the running of the engine suggesting that this is the cause. When I disconnect the other plugs from the none spark plug end I see the spark jumping from the distributor block to the lead. I do not see this from the block to lead number 3. I am right in assuming the distributor block is at fault and if so do I have to go to a Ford dealer to get one? Also what it the block with the lead terminations called that used to be a distributor cap but is now an alluminum block / module. Thanks for any help. fordpartsman
Th item your are describing is called a called a coil pack. You can get these from both ford and from motor factors. But in honesty ford ones are 20x better
