fiestatitaniumowner
Hi, I’m looking for some reliable advice on bodywork repair. I have 4 or 5 scratches on the rear bumper section of my 2010 Fiesta. Each is between 1 - 3 cm long and a few mm wide. The scratches go right down to the bare white plastic. For what it’s worth, the car colour is Morello. Many thanks in advance. Marc You can do a touch up job - not professional but cheaper and can still look very good if done right. Otherwise give Chips Away a call. they are not mega expensive but they are not as cheap as a touch up pen!
mr pompey
if u feel brave enough try this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12958 or try a bit of wet sanding http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6684
kabz77
If the scratches are very bad and gone through to the plastic I strongly suggest you get a bodyshop to spray it properly, my local bodyshop quoted me £150 for my rear bumper, trust me those mobile scratch repair people might say they're good but if you place your car near sunlight you will see the obvious difference between the touch up bits and the rest of the car. Get a quote from those bobile repair people and get a price from your local bodyshop, if its only a few quid difference I know what I'd do. Good luck
