Danny87
dose anyone no were the engine temperture sensor is on mk6 fiesta 1.4 zetec been told its ECU controlled? is this true? Your coolant temperature sensor is located on the side of your cylinder head nearest to your gearbox. From what I can remember it is directly underneath the coilpack and close to it should be a hose which runs to the top of the radiator. Your coolant temperature sensor reports back to your ECU the temperature of the coolant and from then your ECU decides whether it needs the cooling fan. I don't know if the thermostat is controlled electronically over the normal wax-thermostat which opens at a set temperature, someone more experienced will be able to answer the one. Hope that helps a little bit, Dan
