MARLEY
Hi All A while ago i fitted led interior bulbs, everything was fine until today i noticed they are dimly lit when doors closed. If i switch off front the back goes brighter and same the other way around. Fitted same to a 60reg mondeo and that does the same. Hope this makes sense. Any ideas please. Many Thanks Paul

Many Thanks Paul Hi Paul, led's use less power than regular bulbs, so the led takes longer to use the power left in the lines where a regular bulb will only illuminate at around 11volts the led will still run on 2volts the power to the interior lights is cut around 30seconds after you lock the car so nothing to worry about mate. nature of the led's
MARLEY
Hi Lenny They are even on dim when engine running or ignition on, Regards Paul
Lenny
Hi Lenny They are even on dim when engine running or ignition on, Regards Paul the same again mate the power is cut 30seconds after you turn the key in the ignition too, perhaps change the model of led used, to a bigger cluster of led which will bur up the power quicker, i dont have led in my centre lights but i do everywhere else, ive kept the main lights standard as i like the way they dim

artscot79
Problem solved. i removed led bulb from rear interior light and put normal one back in. Thanks for you replies Paul ive noticed leds as the main light somehow stop it from working right i can only assume its regarding the delay for the dimming effect glad it was an easy fix
