Dear all Ford owners,

Would need your kind advise/help in identifying the model of this Ford.

I was told it is a Cortina MK3 . But the tail-lights does not seem to match the Cortina Mk3 , or does it? I'm at a confused state here.

Please do help..

That is definately a MkIV Cortina. Possibly the face lift version (sometimes called a MkV).The front and rear lights have been modified/changed. As has the front grill. The original rear lights would not have been as long and narrow, and the fronts would have been two rectangle shaped lamps.

Yes, but the front of this has been modded. Its not a Mk 3 as that is a completely different shape and far more curved.

I had 3 Mk3's including a lovely 2000E as well as a Mk 4 2.3 litre V6 Ghia. At the time I thought they were great cars although they had a tendency to be a little tail happy in the wet.
