New Clutch Judder

2005 Zetec, 1.6 petrol.

Two months ago the slave cylinder leaked fluid onto the clutch so I had to have a new one and a new clutch fitted. Ever since there has been clutch judder. I've used the garage that fitted it for years with no problem. They say that they could take the clutch out to inspect it but, if it turns out to be the flywheel then I would be liable to pay.

This is fair enough, but if the flywheel was damaged then wouldn't/shouldn't they have seen that when fitting the new clutch? Also, how likely is it that the flywheel would cause clutch judder when it was fine with the original clutch?

Many thanks for any advice.

I dont think that a fluid leak would hurt the flywheel as they would

just clean it off. clutch judder can be down to rideing the clutch heats up to much.

I think your clutch is a duel mass flywheel.
