njosefx
Hi Everyone! I'm Noor from Surrey! I am picking up my 2013 Fiesta Zetec S with the 125hp EcoBoost engine Monday Evening:) I have a few pictures but they aren't very good at all! When I take it home I will take some more decent ones! It's my first car, and I'm really excited to be able to experience the ford adventure I have a few possible mods and please tell me if it's a good or bad idea to do them! White Xenon bulbs - will send a guide on how to change them without taking the headlights out! K&N Filters - more induction noise RaceChip - increase power to a claimed 147bhp Sprint Booster - better throttle response Lowering Springs - Most probably by 35-45mm Will be very interesting to see what you guys think about the mods! Many thanks Noor:)
jeebowhite
Welcome to the family Noor, looks like you have a few good plans there! What engine size and fuel type is it? and the "racechip" is this just a tuning box? or a remap?
btmaldon
Welcome Noor. Not a bad car for your first one. Most of us started with old bangers so I hope you enjoy it.

And yeah it's just basic mods that I thought would make it quite nice, it's the new 1.0 Turbo with 125HP and it's petrol The Racechip is a tuning box, it claims that it will increase power from 125hp to 147hp but I'm very sceptical! Hawkeye92
Very nice motor you got there Noor! Keep us posted on the 'festa', my old man has the same model in red and is trying very hard not to let me get my hands on it after he caught me looking at lowering kits online one day ;) K&Ns are always a safe bet, put an induction kit on my escort and it may just be cause it sounds nicer but it feels more responsive too. I'm sceptical about these chips too, especially on a petrol car, made a decent difference chipping my tdi mondeo but diesels usually do. Anyway, welcome to the club :D
jeebowhite
I have to be honest, I dont think there is anywhere to plug a tuning box in on the petrol engines, so I would be very skeptical! I might be wrong but I thought that these ports were only available on a diesel with the common rail connectors, I cant say I have heard of a tuning box for a petrol turbo. The turbo can be manipulated to give more juice, however, I think that you could be running the risk of lowering the turbo's lifespan. Its work is already cut out for it trying to overpower an eco car to a standard, then you would end up putting more pressure on it to feed out more power and make it more sporty, you may be asking too much of the car, and you may end up having more problems in the future. They said you plug it Into the boost pressure sensor and the manifold pressure sensor! I have a warranty with the car so if anything does give up fingers crossed it will get replaced, not saying that I'm going to rely on my warranty to go mad on the tuning, I want the car to be maintained to the best of my ability!
