2.0 Tdci Turbo Location?

Does any one know where the turbo is on my 07 2.0 tdci focus is need to check the pipes on it incase one has blown off due to air whooshing noise garage can't find anything thanks

should be bottom left corner of the engine I believe. Follow the mass air flow hose from the air filter through.

It sounds more like one of the hoses has blown off after that.

Have a look at my signature at the guide to removing a turbo intercooler pipe and you can get an idea of the pipe and the hoses you need to check for damage, or disconnection.

Is that bottom left as your looking at the engine ? Cheers. I took it to garage this morning and they couldn't find anything but the whooshing sound under load is quite noticeable and the power is down abit, i've just put standard air box on and it's made no difference, definitely pushing or sucking air.

Sounds like a cracked pipe or hose. Take a look at the guide in my signature. If you leave the engine running and move your hand around as much of the pipe as possible (top and bottom hoses) you should feel it blowing out if it is!
