STEADS
Have you got a scanner what does the fuel pressure read to open the injectors it has to be a certain pressure I assume you had the head off to do the cam and off you have disturbed the fuel system it's one possible reason it's not starting how did the cam break in the first place. andy price
Broke the cam shaft trying to time it back up so put a new one in. And lined the injector pump pulley up with the dot and the crank shaft line level with the head and put it all back together. It's injecting in the injectors just not firing. Perhaps it could be the pressure??
STEADS
If you can get hold of a scanner that will read the fuel pressure as you turn it over it has to be in the region of I think 4000 psi before it will open the injectors to fire up did it cause any valve damage when the cam snapped as it would be similar to a belt going ?? Another possible reason.
STEADS
Sounds to me now you've said how it's snapped you have valve damage as the dam would of jammed against something I,e a piston to cause it to go does it sound like it lacks compression turns over to freely. andy price
We broke it before because the cam shaft sits on sum half moon things so acts as a bearing and they fell off the top and went underneath so they were two thick on the bottom causing the brake. If u get me Neil???
Stoney871
I understand ;) The Shell bearings were out of location. Oops.

STEADS
Yer know exactly what you mean seen that before and it didn't cause any other damage .did you disturb the fuel flow at all if not apart from possible pump timing being out if the cam timing is correct I can't see another reason how did water get in there through going through a puddle ? And you say that's what threw the timing out originally that could of caused valve damage .not wanting to put the mockery on it for yer just looking at possible causes.
