Hauyser
Hey! Just ordered a new Fiesta yesterday, with the 1.0 (100) ecoboost engine thing. Can't wait to pick it up when the new plates comes out. They only crossed my mind when I pulled one over on shift at work and ended up driving it off the road. I was really impressed at the pull from such a small engine. Welcome to the family Ryan! Where you just moving the car for a friend then? I work for one of the local police forces, I was moving it due to an uninsured driver. jeebowhite
I suspected that might be the case, when you said pulling one over and driving it off the road, I thought either you were an officer, or doing a mate a favour :p That brings our plod count to 4 I believe :D
bry0586
what kind of idiot would be driving a car like that without insurance????
Hauyser
Haha you'd be surprised what we get going on!
jeebowhite
haha, some people just scrimp on the necessaities just to save a few quid! Not that I condone it, but its so easy to see why people will chance driving without insurance, I mean, an average of £600+ a year can go a long way for a family, I struggle to wonder if I was ever forced into a situation where I needed to think about it, how long I would contemplate the idea of driving without insurance? If only premiums where more reasonable it would be a much lesser issue!
bry0586
i dont think i could knowingly drive around without insurance, i once was driving around for a couple weeks without an mot(i thought it was due following month) and i felt sick as a dog thinking !Removed! i had no mot!! yeh insurance is a pain in the bum and calculated by means i dont understand but its one of them isn't it. However, one could day that if everyone actually paid for their insurance then the premiums would be cheaper alas. i dont think i could knowingly drive around without insurance, i once was driving around for a couple weeks without an mot(i thought it was due following month) and i felt sick as a dog thinking !Removed! i had no mot!! yeh insurance is a pain in the bum and calculated by means i dont understand but its one of them isn't it. Unfortunately a legal requirement too! No ways around it with the risk of us seizing and crushing.
bry0586
thats it aswell eh, its not like u can get away with it with a smack on the wrist and a " dont do it again speech" i can imagine why some people dont have insurance when all they drive is clapt out heaps n they dont give a toss if it gets crushed,
jeebowhite
Sadly the whole game could work better if everyone played, but yeah, its bad! and also fraudulent claims as well! I wish it was regulated more, if the prices where better controlled and managed, then better still we wouldnt have half these issues.
