I am new to this so please accept apologies if in wrong place etc. what are your thoughts on this Today fiesta has started revving between 3000 - 4000 rpm when you drop down gears It can vary what gears and will happen constant for 10 mins then nothing for 30 mins etc. There engine man light is on but has been for a year. Sensor on exhaust. Car mat not caught under pedals and everything is well greased and cars been perfect. Would it do this of there was low gearbox oil ?
