Glanny
Hi Everyone, I need some advice please. I own a 12 plate focus titanum 1.6 diesel. On my return home today (Widnes) from Devon my clutch pedal was sticking to the floor - I had to put my foot under the pedal to flick it out to reposition it. The focus is covered by the ford direct warranty but on booking it in today I have been told that it could be the clutch and the clutch plates and that I will have to pay for the repair - it is due to be inspected @ 9am tomorrow! Anyone had a simular problem/issue that you can share your experiance with me so I can be armed and ready when i receive the diagnoses tomorrow? thanks everyone for your help. jeebowhite
Clutch could be seen as wear ad tear sadly... You could try and argue the point if it's low miles and driven carefully but sadly I don't think you will get the benefit of the doubt.
