Footwell Lights With A Twist

Hey guys, so I've got some red LED strips that are normally for the outer door handles. But I want to put them in the footwells, as the mk1 focus handles wouldn't exactly be right for them.

Does anyone know how they would need to be wired in order to work with the headlights? So they're like an ambient interior light.

You just need to splice them in to an interior illumination feed,

Such as light feed for heater controls,

I recommend fitting a switch aswell so you can turn them off when the cops are around,

They dont like to see interior lighting much,
