Has My Turbo Gone?

Hey guys,

So this afternoon I thought I would give a bash at cleaning my EGR Valve with Wynn's EGR Cleaner.. While taking things apart I managed to break the MAP sensor vavuum hose :( didn't think to much of it at the time (can get a new one later). When I had finished and put it all back together the car was running fine... no different to before I started!

So I decided to take it for a drive like your supposed to, I pulled out of our road which is up a hill give it a bit of acceleration, and here's where the problem starts.. it went straight to redline and stayed there for a few seconds... piles of smoke flew out the bag.. grey/white.. and then lost pretty much all power... now it wont get out of second gear and have to give it a dam good rev to get anywhere near like 10MPH!! Has the turbo died on me?? Or could it be something else entirely?

Thanks for any help in advance!

Should also say its a 2007 1800 TDI.

I would get the map issue sorted first and go from there to be honest.

Yeah, it's going to be because the map sensor vacuum hose isn't in, replace and retest.
