Focus_ST-3
Does anybody else think the new fiesta horn is slightly feeble? I am thinking of changing it for a dual tone horn but it seems quite hard to get into. Has anybody else changed their's?

Has anybody else changed their's? Yes I did! couldn't stand that road runner "beep...beep" so changed it for a pair of dual tone horns sounds much better now . the horn on mine was beneath the passenger side head lamp, remove the lamp and you can get to the existing horn and the loom just a matter of pulling the fuse and rewire, minor stuff really (as per kit instructions) hardest part was getting the headlamp out/in. and if i can do it, so can you ;) best of luck Kristal

Air Hostess
Yea i found taking the headlights out to put in LEDs in a pain in the !Removed!! Those stupid white clips...How much is a new horn? the horns came as a matched pair hi and low tones, so together sound much nicer, like a top range mondeo or beemer, really loud and definatly an "attention getter" they came from Halfords twin horns, two mounting brackets, and a relay in the pack about £19, but you have to buy the "spade clips" for the connections, and the extra cable you need,as they dont come in the pack, approx £10 on extra's (specifcation for cable thickness in the instructions on how to fit. ) and I would read the instruction before doing anything,I know most guys tend to try to fix it, make it adjust it.......and then read the "book" but trust me on this it is really quite simple just read the diagramme first.total time less than, 1 1/2 hours as i said ,and Nips agrees getting the headlamp out and back in is the biggest part. kristal
OM602fan
Hi! Could anyone show me a photo of a original horn location in mk7 please. I read above that it is located under a nearside headlight but couldn't find it. I bought the car after an bump and that is why I have no idea where to locate a horn and electrics that goes to it. Thank you.

OM602fan
Thanks for that. I am still not sure whether it is located under right or left headlamp. Is it different between LHD and RHD? Sorry for being a pain in the back but that is how it is when you starting from scratch. Cannot even find a cabling in a first place. OM602fan
Quick question. No sign of a horn, probably been damaged in a bump, but I found this wire. Is it to feed a horn?
