First things you should consider is can u afford or old enough too insure a modified car. Because I was surprised by how many company wouldn't insure me and I'm 24 and it's 6 points if your stopped for any reason. Because your insurance will be invalid.

Do you wanna go with cvh or zetec engine/turbo conversion.

Cvh will be cheaper because zetec turbo will best suit aftermarket ecu.

Wouldn't it have been better to have bought a Petrol to save having to do so much work with the fuel tank?

Cheapest bet may well be to buy a FRP that's been smacked and put all that in there, quite good because you'll have minimal issues with it taking the gearbox and driveshafts etc, take the ECU out of it as well, a Donor car is much easier to work from than another manufacturer etc, essentially the Puma is the same as the Fiesta in the front end bar a few little bits.

it's still salvageable have the rear beam off it so you can have disc brakes etc too.
