Fusion + - Factory Fit Ford 7500 Dvd Player Not Working...

Hi Guys,

First post!

Bought a 2003 Fusion + 1.4 TDCi yesterday and the factory fitted Ford "7500" DVD player and screen are showing no signs of life at all. I had a look at the fuses but the manual isn't clear about which fuse could be the culprit. Anyone have an idea on why there would be no power to it at all or somethings I should be testing to try and find the fault. Also if someone knows the fuse number that'd be ace.

New to all this fancy electronics lark built into the ceiling haha.

Cheers,

Dan

I believe there is a fuse on the back of the stereo itself

Cheers for getting back to me.

It's a ceiling mounted one in the rear of the car, so would the fuse be in the stereo, or in the DVD player itself?

Ta.

hmm theres nowhere on the exterior of it to house a switch and I don't really fancy pulling the whole DVD player out just yet until I've explored a couple more ideas.

I've had a look, but nowhere on the fuse map diagram indicates which one it could be...

Does it say like extra 1 or something like that with a fuse in it

Had a look, nothing obvious that it could be in there :/

Hi epicDwin

I know it was a little while ago but did you get this sorted. We have a c max with the same dvd player. It was working fine for ages but then stopped. We bought a brand new one and still nothing
