Last serviced 13 months ago, this problem is intermittent it has only happened a few times in the last week, but generally happens in all gears after 2500 rpm it feels kind of like when I put my foot to the floor the car doesn't respond as it should it gets up to spees but will constantly have a rocking kind of motion like its skipping a beat lol, really get frustrated if I turn the car on and off it seems to sort the problem for a while any ideas on what this could be before I start throwing money at it.

Letting people know what engine it is and getting it on some diagnostics would be a good start could give some pointers.

As it was also serviced 13 months aging it is overdue a service based on time let alone mileage so a service could well help the situation.

Plugged up dirty particulate filter booked in for a service, I thought it was the egr valve to be fair.

Like it says on my profile 1.6 tdci 58 plate

Then it most likely needs a forced regeneration and a service. Profile details are all well and good but not much use when using the app as people can't see that info.

italian tune - drive it hard and fast.

I would suggest the issue is likely a fault with the fuel filter.
