Dibblegti
Clean up the engine bay with colour coded parts, some nice 17" rs alloys or nice ford 17" depending on what I can find, colour code door handles and boot trim. Paint work needs touching up. Trying to find an stock filter box as not a fan of cone filters. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

WES180
I miss mine after seeing yours! I fitted the same wheels you have but in 16" from the Mondeo. They give it that modified yet still factory look. I gave it a 40mm drop too. Its a shame i dont have a scanner so could upload some pics for you.

Dibblegti
Yea that looks good, thinking either 17" diamond cut cosworths or the 17" st170 alloys. Done a bit of work to her today. Did the rear end of the mg as well. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
WES180
I cant believe the car is 17yrs old already. I would keep the mods subtle and reversable because before you know it the car will be a full on collectable classic!:)

WES180
Get yourself a front strut brace in there too, stiffens the front end nicely. I bought an Escort Cabriolet one from Fords for around £25 but that was a few years back now. There is one on eBay at the minute for £32 or best offer. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Strut-Brace-FORD-ESCORT-GTI-1998-/261994442754?nav=SEARCH I wonder if Ford have any new old stock?
