Spriggs
I have a Fiesta 1.0T Ecoboost 100ps 5 door. The official figures state that in town you should get 53mpg and on motorways 76mpg. With careful driving i am getting 41mpg in town and 48 on motorways. I once got 53mpg on a 50mph road. What is everyone else getting as i feel like i paid an extra £1000 for nothing. MONDEO TXS 2.2
You'll never achieve the official figures in the real world of driving
Well Spoken Waffle
one tip to get good mileage from this little turbo engine - don't use the turbo engine. the turbo is not your friend. when that thing spools up, kiss your mpg goodbye.if that needle even touches 2k rmp, you should have changed gear weeks ago
winemart2
Problem is, if you're below turbo range it wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding ;)
MONDEO TXS 2.2
True, without the turbo it's an economical but gutless 3 pot like Poxhall failed with the 3 pot n/a Corsa
L22EEW
I'm getting 44 - 45 MPG in mine, with a stage 1 ECU remap. I do like my little turbo though ;)
