flowman
I would just like to introduce myself as a new member. I live in Belgium and have just bought the sorry looking Escort attached in the photo. Surprising what a quick wash and hoovering did for this car. It had been living in a hedge for a few months but has come up very nicely. Just a few new hoses and a tweak of the brakes and she's a runner! It's a 1978 1.3L auto and its surprising how well these old Escorts feel compared to big heavy modern motors. My other motor is a BMW 730d so the difference is......massive. I'm looking forward to getting into old Fords now. If any of you have something similar that's looking for a good home, please get in touch. Cheers! flowman

steve st220
hello mate, thats a very tidy looking mk2 considering its been stuck in a hedge B) people would pay good money for clean 2 door Shell, especially with it being an auto as it has the large gearbox tunnel as standard B)

flowman
What a nice place this is. Plenty of welcoming folk. I've just decided I am now a Ford man. So what's the BEST one to own?
Purdy fpv
I've just decided I am now a Ford man. So what's the BEST one to own? That is a tough question. I guess that it deppends on what you want out of a Ford. Before you can say which one is best.
