RyanM
Hi everyone, I have recently purchased a 2011 Mondeo Titanium X Sport Estate - and my goodness what a car it has turned out to be, very proud owner. My pride and joy has the chrome Roof Rails fitted, however I have just seen exactly the same car without the Roof Rails and it did look better I must admit. I wondered if it was possible to remove them, and if so can it be done without any damage or detriment to the car body? Any advise and thoughts appreciated. pragmatix
If you remove them there will be bolt holes where they where fitted also you have to remove and refit the headlineing, personally I would leave alone
ralph
I'm the opposite..... I think they look better with the roof rails than without personally! Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
iantt
cant be done, ive fitted roof rails on a mondeo estate and you have to drill large holes in roof. a right pain with no templates to say where to drill.lol so removing will leave 12 holes
RyanM
Thank you all for your response, it's does sound like hassle for little benefit - I think I will leave well alone. Thanks again.
