dlq
Hi, I have a problem with the ventilation of my 2005 Ka, the exhaust fumes of other cars most notably from diesel cars enter the passenger cabin and also from my own car when I start it in the morning, it begins to smell like rotten egg, all of this is so concentrated that I have to open the window to breath fresh air. It may be possible that the previous owner collided with the car I'm not totally sure. My question is, where in the ventilation system should I check to see if there is a fault? MONDEO TXS 2.2
Does this car have a pollen / cabin filter ? If so try, changing it
dlq
Yes it has. I tried changing the cabin filter before with one named carbon filter, but unfortunately it didn't help with the problem in any way.
MONDEO TXS 2.2
The smell of rotten eggs is often associated with the catalytic converter
