Mongo Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 Hi guys, I have the steering rack removed from a face lift s-max , with elctro hydraulic power steering pump. The car got a prang and the power steering isn't working. There's a slight play in the right hand side/ pinion side of the rack on left hand steering lock. I got a second hand replacement and it seems similar. Passengers side of the rack doesn't have the same play ,probably due to the pinion on the drivers side.
