Hi all,

Last month i bought a Ford Focus 1.6 2001 Ghia(1.6 saloon light green) 1 elderly owner only done 34,000 miles the condition is immaculate and i intend on keeping it this way and would only take it out at the weekend up the road to give it a run.

Would it be worth hanging onto? and keeping the very low miles

Thanks

Jack

Yep as arthur said a car that old with such low mileage is actually worse than a car with higher mileage. shows its been sitting around too much and those bushings wont be feeling too good

its due to age, usually 100k or 10 years, whichever comes first. the belt goes brittle over time just like rubber hoses, pipes

so it can either break due to wear, or break due to age

Yes I'd say so, in another 5 years they'll be even less common.

less common really its not an escort or mk1 fiesta if it was an st or rs then it would be worth it
