tazzman600
Tom. Those 'cracks' you've photo'd are actually cuts caused by a multitude of sharps we all drive on every day.
TomsFocus
Look between the treads, there are entire rings of cracking between them on the inner and outer, not in the middle one yet though.
tazzman600
Yup seen it. The main reason for tyres gaining cracks is the tyres age. UV and heat issues popicock. Tyres which have been stored incorrectly are prone to cracking. A lot of so called 'new' tyres sold are probably a couple or more years old to start with. Those small cracks shouldn't be worried about unless they are wide enough to put a coin into. I've purposefully probed those cracks with a sharp pointed knife to see how deep they are/were only to find the knife went in a 1mm and I've carried on with those same tyres till they had no legal tread left. I've been told by many a tyre fitter not to worry unless they widen enough to fit a coin in.
