Michael9
Apart from scrap it! This is the back chassis legs of an 03 estate, I've never saw anything as bad, I think it's been kept on a farm for the last few years and never washed...if it was yours what would you do, both front door bottoms are badly bubbled too. It needs a few other ie 2 shocks, brake pipes but I'll know exactly what else on tues at mot. Its a ghia x and let to get to this state.. stef123
Well you did say apart from scrap it, perhaps everyone's view is to scrap it.
TomsFocus
Break it for parts. Unless you can weld that won't be a cheap repair!! If you do want to fix it, get someone to cut out all of the rust then if there's any car left make a plate and weld it in. Seal it with stone chip paint or similar. Michael9
I can weld (mig and stick but don't have my own) I guess not then, it's going mot tues I've a feeling it'll be the last as it'll need to much done but want to know just how much I'll prob take stuff off (being ghia x there's a few nice things) and scrap the rest
